"Dear Susan, We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience your son has experienced throughout this experience with the Saint Lucie repair shop. We understand how stressful vehicle repairs can be following an accident, and we appreciate his understanding as the fuel pump issue with the vehicle was unrelated to the claim, although it doesn’t make the situation any easier. While his policy didn’t include the rental car coverage and was acknowledged at time of purchase, we’ve been in touch with him regularly and have worked with the claims department and the repair shop to help keep things moving. The parts needed are on back order, but once they come in, the shop will be able to finish the repair. Most recent, our claims department attempted to contact your son and left him a voicemail to schedule an inspection of the vehicle. We’re waiting on that update and will continue to monitor the situation. Your business is very important to us, and we want to ensure that you and your family feel supported.
